Excellent hotel and service

If you are looking for a excellent stay in Hanoi, then search no more. Just go to Sunrise Hotel. Do be careful though because there are several hotels with the same name. This one is situated at 24 Quan Su Street.
We were a 4 persons party and wanted to stay together in a room as a family. The hotel only had a 3 bedded room but they obliged to put in another bed at our request.
The room was clean and spacious. All the room facility was functioning. It was far beyond my expectation. We even had a PC computer in the room that was connected to the internet at no extra charge. Needless to say, there was also free wireless internet service in the hotel.
The reasonable room rates came with breakfast which was much more than adequate.
The location was also very good. It was just a few blocks away from the Hoan Kiem lake so it was convenient to roam around the Old Quarter. Most of the roads in the Old Quarter are busy accompanied with incessant traffic noise. However, the road fronting the hotel has less traffic and so traffic noise should be less. I can say this for sure as my room was facing the back and so was quiet no matter the time of day.
What makes this trip truly memorable were the 2 managers, Johnny and Michael. They deserve special mention because they gave us 6 star personalized service. They went out all the way to ensure that we had the perfect holiday. No request was too small for them to look into. They made us feel very welcomed and safe, giving us safety tips as we roam around
Hanoi. Our tours to Halong Bay, Tom Coc, Hoa Lu were all arranged by them and everything went smoothly without a hitch.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hassle free vacation with highly personalized service.

“The Best Accommodation in Hanoi”

Kirsty Australia:
We stayed at the hotel for a week, the service was fantastic. The hotel staff were so attentive and helpful with any thing that we required. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful. It was amazing what we got for the price, the breakfast was included and it was very yummy! The hotel staff helped us to book any trips that we needed, and their prices were the cheapest around by far. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to have a truly memorable holiday, with a beautiful bed and great service from friendly, sweet staff for a great price. Enjoy x

“Fabulous service ....."like welcome home"”

We felt so lucky to have found the Sunrise hotel (make sure it's the one located at 24 Quan Su Street.) in Hanoi. We had a lovely balconied room which was an oasis in this busy city and only several blocks from Hoan Kiem Lake. The room included a breakfast (some days fried eggs...some days buffet.) But the true highlight of staying here are the managers John & Michael. You won't find better personal service at a 5* hotel than we received from the 2 of them. We ended up booking our last 11-12 days of tours with them which included a 4 day trip to Sapa (which was a true highlight of our month long Vietnam/Cambodia trip), 3 days in Halong Bay, a couple days in Hanoi, a day in Hue and a day in HoiAn & /My Son. Their prices were very reasonable & competitive and once we paid them they took care of almost everything else for us! They booked our train tickets, a bus ticket, a flight, the hotels, great tours and most of our meals. We were always picked up on time and the hotel managers all took great care of us. A couple times in between tours John, Michael, Denny and the rest of their staff at the Sunrise Hotel fed us breakfast and gave us a room to shower in which was certainly nice after a full day of touring or after spending the night on a train. They always "wecomed us home" and imagine our delight when we returned to Hanoi on the overnight train at 4:30 a.m. and they picked us up....what a fabulous unexpected surprise!. On our last day of touring our guide's cell phone rang and he said it was for me......Michael called to ask us how everything went and wish us a pleasant journey home. Even though we usually like the experience of doing our own thing it was so nice to have someone else take care of all the details which are often difficult to work out in a foreign Country when you don't speak their language. We hope to return to Vietnam and the Sunrise Hotel!

“Very sweet Hotel”

Found in the heart of the old city, Sunrsie was recommended to us via a travel agency. The hotel worked out perfectly, the staff was incredibly kind and the rooms were definitely par for value at a 2-3 star hotel. Great A/C, good tour booking, and no problems... which is a nice mixture for Vietnam.

“Great service, good value”

FrankosHanoi
I stayed for a few days in Sunrise Hotel and I was excited by the friendliness of staff , the nice and clean rooms, the beautiful beds and the good breakfast. For little money you get much more than you expect. Further on, I started a job in Hanoi and the guys from Sunrise Hotel organised wonderful trips into Hanoi’s surroundings. They were so great to consider even very individual wishes! With their support we discovered not only the real Halong Bay but also Tam Coc area which is called the Halong Bay on the land. So my whole family got delighted by the hotel staff that went after any details.
So we would highly recommend this hotel to others.

“Great service in a budget priced hotel spotless rooms central location”

Hi, Just want to give the managers and staff of Sunrise Hotel Hanoi a top rating for service way beyond what you expect. The hotel itself is budget priced, but has spotless rooms and breakfast as part of the tariff. Really comfortable beds and nice linen.
Staff bent over backwards to help with anything from arranging trips to basic tourist information. We were even escorted to the train station for our trip to Sapa and Johnny made sure we were comfortable on the train. Then he was there to meet us on our return at 5am!
The location is central to Lake Kiem and all shopping and business areas.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it to others.
